There is blog capability, but it’s more for updates, not showing on the front page so your site looks like a website that has static information that people are looking for.
There is Facebook page management built in which creates your Facebook business page and updates it from your website.
Affiliates can target small businesses to sell to directly, or small business consultants to use the multisite version to use for client sites. The multisite does allow consultants to use for clients without purchasing additional licenses for each site.
Local space is huge and growing quickly. Mobile searches are for local sites. Consultants can build a site for a local business in an hour with the basic information. Easy enough for do it yourself small business owners to be able to create a web presence that is easy to manage.
If you don’t want your site to “look” like a blog, there are 8 different page layouts that are completely customizable, easily, plus you still have the blog function.
