Greetings from the Frozen Northland

It's Winter here in North Central Minnesota... A time when I hang out inside and work on websites, between periods of hibernation.

I do try to get in a morning walk almost every day and take a few photos, if temps aren't too far below zero. Got some pretty good pictures of steam rising from open water in the Mississippi river last Winter when it was -20 degrees or so.

I'm lucky enough to live on a farm right along the banks of the Mississippi river where I can enjoy Nature's beauty almost every day. (Have had some great dawns the last couple of days.)

I see some familiar names and am looking forward to getting to know everyone.

There's a little more to it than being in the right place but that is certainly part of it! I rarely am around for SunRise I'm more of a SunSet person
